For an old world affair with fine china and tradition take mom to the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver’s Mother’s Day High Tea. This event takes place in the historic Chartwell room and will surely be a deliciously elegant affair. While this event is a bit on the pricier side, it’s only once a year and a wonderful experience for mom. After all she spoils you everyday!

Mother’s Day Brunch & Bubbles
When is the last time you saw your mom happy on bubbles? It’s probably been a while. Between laundry, work, dinner and you she rarely has time to waste on a Sunday afternoon. If you are looking for something a bit different to get mom’s happy juices flowing try taking her for a night out on the town at Anza Club for Black Gardenia. Black Gardenia is a jazz band that fuses jazz, blues, folk and old country music. The group is lead by vocalist Daphne Roubini and has just released a new album, Lucky Star, that blends classic and vintage originals. Have mom swaying in her seat and feel the cool jazz sounds of Black Gardenia.
